Two suspects who filled up their car at a filling station in Great Brak River without paying have been arrested.
Police Spokesperson Sergeant Christopher Spies says police in Albertinia received information on Wednesday about the suspects driving around in a Red Alpha Romeo.
The vehicle was then spotted, parked near a farm in the vicinity of Albertinia.
Sergeant Spies says police searched the vehicle and found a small quantity of tik inside as well as a set of number plates belonging to another vehicle.
He says while still at the scene police discovered that the vehicle had recently been stolen in Gauteng during a violent attack.
The suspects aged 30 and 35 were arrested on the spot and will be charged with possession of stolen property and drugs as well as fraud and theft.
They will appear in the Still Bay Magistrates Court on Friday.
More charges could be added as the investigation unfolds.
