Police in Gqeberha are continuing their search for a biokineticist who was kidnapped outside of her workplace in Pickering Street on Thursday morning.
Twenty-six-year-old Riana Pretorius was abducted by three armed men outside her workplace.
A spokesperson for the Hawks, Captain Yolisa Mgolodela says a ransom demand of R2 million has now been made for her safe return.
On Thursday, just hours after the abduction, one of the suspects was arrested at Deal Party and a firearm was confiscated.
Captain Mgolodela says a second person has since been arrested but she did not divulge details of the arrest.
The two suspects are expected to appear in court soon.
