Six suspects have been arrested after being caught red-handed stealing a large amount of scrap copper.
Police spokesperson Captain Andre Beetge says the suspects broke into the Gqeberha business on Sunday night.
They were arrested after members of a security company responded to the alarm.
Beetge says the suspects aged between 18 and 36 years old are expected to appear in court on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Beetge says another scrap metal dealer was robbed of a vehicle and an undisclosed amount of money by four gunmen on Saturday.
He says they are investigating a possible link between the two cases.
