Police in Port Elizabeth arrested four suspects in connection with last weeks jewelry heist at Francarlo Jewellers in the Walmer Park Shopping centre.
Police spokesperson Captain Andre Beetge says the flying squad received a tip-off that a man was trying to sell a very expensive watch to someone in Sidwell.
The 40-year-old man was arrested after he was found in possession of two watches, one which still had a tag from Francarlo Jewellers.
Beetge says upon further investigation they arrested three more suspects in various houses in New Brighton and Algoa Park.
The suspects had 26 watches in their possession all allegedly stolen from Francarlo Jewellers.
The suspects between the ages of 29 and 40 will appear in court soon where they will be charged with housebreaking and possession of suspected stolen property.
