East London police are searching for 3 suspects who blew up a drop safe at a filling station in Amalinda on Wednesday morning.
Police spokesperson, Captain Stephen Marais, says three men tied up a petrol attendant at about half past one on Wednesday morning before using commercial explosives to blow up the safe.
He says the fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
Members of the organised crime- and explosives units were at the scene.
