Port Elizabeth police have arrested five suspects in connection with a house-robbery in Charlo on Thursday morning.
Police warrant officer Alwin Labans says the 24-year-old female victim was confronted by the five men in her home and threatened with a gun and a knife.
He says the woman defended herself with pepper spray and the assailants fled with her cellphone and car keys.
Labans says members of the dog unit arrested the suspects and confiscated a toy gun.
