Quick action by members of a private security company and Plettenberg Bay police has led to the arrest of a suspect, following a business robbery on Monday.
Police spokesperson, Captain Malcolm Pojie, says the man's three alleged accomplices are still at large after managing to evade arrest.
He says the men robbed a local retail store of goods, cash as well as a cellphone of one of the employees shortly after the store opened for business.
Pojie says members of a private security company on patrol spotted the men's fleeing car and were joined by members of the police's crime prevention unit in the chase after the suspects.
He says the 33-year-old suspect was arrested in Bossiesgif informal settlement.
Police recovered most of the stolen goods, said to be worth R30 000.
