Police in Port Elizabeth have arrested a 49-year-old man in connection with the abduction of two little girls from New Brighton.
Police Spokesperson Captain Andre Beetge says one of the children was found with stab wounds to her head, still alive, and taken to the Dora Nginza hospital.
He says the other child was found later after a massive search throughout the night involving the K9 unit and police helicopters.
Beetge says the girl was found in the suspect's bed, after which he was arrested.
