It has been nearly six months since the murder of convicted killer, Christopher Panayiotou’s father, Costa, and no arrests have been made.
The 67-year-old was shot and killed, soon after closing his shop, Bambi Snack Bar, in Uitenhage in December last year.
This, after being accosted by an unknown number of men near the Town Hall parking space where he was fatally wounded.
Panayiotou’s assistant, who was also with him, was abducted and later found in Kwazakhele where she reported that she had been raped by two suspects.
Panayiotou's VW Polo was stolen but was later recovered in Motherwell.
Police spokesperson, Brigadier Tembinkosi Kinana, says the investigation is ongoing and they still have no breakthrough in the case.
Costa Panayiotou's son Christopher was sentenced to life imprisonment in November 2017 for orchestrating the abduction and murder of his wife Jayde in 2015.
