It's been just over a week since the body of an elderly lady was found in her house in Uitenhage and police are yet to make a breakthrough.
The body of the 90-year-old Hester Rudman was found in her house with a stab wound to the chest.
Police Spokesperson Captein Gerda Swart says Rudman had no other injuries.
She says it was also established that only Rudman's handbag was stolen in the robbery.
Her lifeless body was found at the entrance of her bedroom when a neighbour became suspicious when her back door was open.
Rudman lived in a flat in Lange Street.
Swart says any person with information that could give them any leads is urged to contact police.
