A 9 year old child from Tienbank in Sterkspruit has been missing for 11 days.
Warrant Officer Mbuyiselo Yawathe from the police says Reitumetse Mehlomakhulu was last seen by her mother's friend on the 22nd of August
He says Reitumetse's mother sent the child to collect items of clothing at a local Tarven where the mother's friend works.
Yawathe says her mother started to panic after she called her friend who said the child had left the tarven a two hours ago.
She was wearing a grey tracksuit jacket,brown tights and black slippers at the time of her disappearance.
Sterkspruit police have opened a missing persons case.
