The National Prosecuting Authority say the state has filed all its papers in opposition to the bail application of PE murder accused, Christopher Panayiotou.
He is accused of orchestrating the abduction and murder of his wife Jayde whose body was found at Rocklands outside Port Elizabeth last month.
She had been shot three times.
Panayiotou's bail hearing is expected to continue in the Port Elizabeth Magistrate's court on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the DA Women's Network is also expected to hold a picket protest calling for "Justice for Jade".
Member of the Provincial Legislature, Celeste Barker says DAWN honours the constitutional principle of innocent until proven guilty.
