The Port Elizabeth High Court has ordered that Christopher Panayiotou's lawyers receive one section of the state's docket which includes the investigation diary.The judgment was handed down on Tuesday morning by Judge Elna Revelas, after Panayiotou's legal team subpoenaed 14 police officers to handover sections of the docket.
She also ordered that the statement by cellphone expert, Thereza Botha, be handed to the defence.
Section C of the case docket contains the statement of investigating officer, Captain Kanna Swanepoel.However, all parts of section B of the docket, which contains sensitive information, will not be handed over to the defence.Judge Revelas also ruled that the matter regarding the subpoena's of the 14 police officers should stand over until trial on the 11th of October.
