Southern Cape police ready for Plett rage

Southern Cape police say they're ready to deal with the influx of teenagers descending on Plettenberg Bay for the annual Plett Rage.

Police captain Malcolm Pojie says there will be high police visibility in Plett, including on all beaches.

He's also warned that police will conduct vehicle checks and implement roving roadblocks.

Pojie says while the police respect and understand the need for celebrations, there will be zero tolerance for lawlessness and unruly behaviour, especially drunken driving
