Sizeable dagga busts in Grahamstown and Port Elizabeth

A man has been arrested in Grahamstown for the possession of 10-kilogrammes of dagga.
Police Captain Mali Govender says the 22-year-old man from Lesotho was caught on Wednesday when police found the dagga during a stop and search of a bus which had arrived in Grahamstown from Peddie.
The man will appear in the Grahamstown Magistrate's Court soon.
Meanwhile: a 66 year old man from Port Elizabeth will appear in court on Thursday after 16 bags of dagga was found in the garage of his house in Kwadesi.
Police say they received information that the dagga was being off-loaded from a bakkie, where-after the K9 unit swooped in.
The estimated street value of the dagga is R560 000
