Six suspects in court following sting operation in Addo and Kirkwood

Six suspects will appear in the Kirkwood Magistrates court on Monday on charges of business robbery.

Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer, Basil Seekoei says nine suspects, aged between 15 and 53, were arrested in the Kirkwood and Addo areas during a sting operation .

He says three teenagers were taken in for questioning, and were later released into the custody of their parents.

Seekoei says police seized stolen property at various houses in the area.

Police recovered electrical appliances and other property to the value of fifty-thousand rand.
