A teenager from Albertinia is in police custody after two stolen bikes were found in his possession.
Police spokesperson Sergeant Chris Spies says over the festive season six bicycles were stolen from a camping site in Still Bay between 31 December and 9 January.
He says a team was assembled to investigate the matter which led to a breakthrough this week.
The juvenile is expected to appear in court on Friday.
Sergeant Spies says further investigation led to the confiscation of four more bicycles at another address in Albertinia and more arrests are expected.
He says the stolen bikes are worth over R87 000.
