Police operations in Plettenberg Bay have led to the arrest of six suspects and the seizure of drugs worth an estimated R50 000.
The arrests were made during raids by multi-disciplinary teams in Kwanokuthula and New Horizons this weekend.
Police spokesperson, Sergeant Chris Spies said officers were executing a search warrant at a house in Gogolin Street in Kwanokuthula on Saturday.
He said the team seized 166 grams of Tik, 100 mandrax tablets, and a small quantity of cocaine.
A 53-year-old man was arrested.
Spies said two houses in New Horizon were also searched where five people were arrested and Tik and Mandrax seized.
He said the suspects will appear in the Plettenberg Bay Magistrates Court on charges of dealing in drugs.
