Site visit planned for St Francis after weekend floods

 Kouga Municipality officials will be conducting a site visit to St Francis Bay on Monday after a natural dam burst its banks this weekend flooding streets and several luxury homes.

The torrent of water flooded streets in Santareme washing away drive-ways, destroying furniture and caused large craters in roads and sidewalks.

Damage is expected to run into millions of rands and residents fear that a second natural dam may be at risk.
