Several areas in Nelson Mandela Bay are still without electricity, as workers battle against the elements to restore supply.
Metro spokesperson, Kupido Baron says they are still dealing with several fallen trees and request motorists to be extremely careful.
Baron says the affected areas include Theescombe, Lorraine, Gelvandale, Kwazakhele, farms in the Woodridge area, and St. Albans.
He says they have received confirmation from their control room that work on the sub-station feeding Walmer will only commence this morning.
