Seven killed in EC accident

 At least seven people were killed, and 10 others injured, in an accident on the R61 between Queenstown and Cofinvaba on Wednesday night, when a taxi and a bakkie collided head-on.

Provincial traffic spokesperson, Tsepo Machaya says 6 people died at the scene

He says the injured were taken to a Queenstown hospital, where one of the critically injured later died.

The cause of the accident is not known.
