Seven men from the Mossel Bay Juvenile Correctional Youth Centre will appear in the Mossel Bay Magistrate's Court on Tuesday on charges of raping a fellow inmate.
Police say the 20-year-old victim was allegedly raped in a cell that he shared with the suspects.
The suspects were arrested after the victim went for a medical examination.
Meanwhile, a 36-year-old man from Thembalethu will bring a bail application in the George Magistrate's Court, after he was arrested for allegedly raping a 5-year-old girl in George a fortnight ago.
Police spokesperson Captain Malcolm Pojie says the victim lives next door to the suspect.
She was allegedly raped in the suspect's home and had to be hospitalised due to the nature of her injuries.
