Seven suspects, aged between 22 and 38, have been arrested for murder in Stilbaai.
Police spokesperson, Captain Bernadine Steyn says the incident happened at a house in Melkhoutfontein on Sunday morning.
She says the suspects allegedly accused the deceased of a crime and assaulted him with blunt objects.
Thirty eight year old Ampie Jansen, died on his way to a hospital in Riversdale.
Steyn says the suspects are expected to appear in the Riversdale Magistrates’ court on Wednesday.
