Service delivery in the spotlight at Eastern Cape municipal indaba

Key service delivery programmes for Eastern Cape Municipalities will come under the spotlight during a two-day meeting between Local Government MEC, Mlibo Qoboshiyane and top municipal officials.

National Minister, Richard Baloyi, Aaron Motsoaledi, Dina Pule, and Edna Molewa, will also deliver presentations at the meeting at Fish River Sun from Thursday.

Eskom's 2014 electrification plan and the state of electricity system will be presented to the local government decision makers.

Qoboshiyane says he's confident that deliberations during this meeting will influence improved pace of delivery in the province.
