A Port Elizabeth father who pleaded guilty to theft of over R1.4 million had his sentencing procedure postponed this week.
The 37-year-old Morne Pretorius will now be back in the Commercial Crimes Court on the 1st of December for him to obtain a psychologist report.
Pretorius was employed by Supply Five Distribution (Pty) Ltd, as the manager and his duties included managing sales, marketing, invoicing and stock control.
Between January and December 2018, he stole stock belonging to the company.
Pretorius made headlines in August when his wife reported him missing.
A massive search was launched for Pretorius who was found unharmed in Jeffreys Bay two days later.
He told police that he had personal problems and needed some time away.
A week later he pleaded guilty to the charges against him.
