Luthando Siyoni, the self-confessed middleman in the 2015 murder of Jayde Panayiotou, will be back in court next month.
Siyoni was expected to appear at the Port Elizabeth High Court on Friday morning, however, proceedings were further delayed to the 14th of October.
His trial has been delayed for months now due to his failure to settle his legal fees.
Jayde's husband Christopher Panayiotou was sentenced to life in prison in 2017 for orchestrating the kidnapping and murder of his wife.
His two accused Sinethemba Nemembe was convicted on a charge of murder and robbery with aggravating circumstances while co-conspirator Zolani Sibeko was found guilty of conspiracy to commit murder.
State Prosecutor Marius Stander who secured a conviction for Panayiotou and his co-accused will also be leading the case against Siyoni.
A trial date has not yet been set.
Siyoni will stand trial alone and faces charges of conspiracy to commit murder, murder, robbery with aggravating circumstances and defeating the ends of justice.
This after Judge Dyallin Chetty found that Siyoni was not truthfull during his testimony whilst he was a 204 witness for the State.
