Security guards robbed at Port Alfred

Two security guards collecting money from a store in Port Alfred were robbed by an armed gang at lunch time on Monday.

Police say the two suspects pointed firearms at the two guards, seized their firearms and fled in a white Ford Bantam with boxes of money.

It is not known how much money was stolen.

Police later found the abandoned getaway vehicle.

There have been no arrests.
