A G4 security guard has been killed and another wounded during an armed robbery at a petrol station in Kwazakhele, Port Elizabeth.
Police spokesperson, captain Andre' Beetge, says the drama unfolded shortly before 11am on Thursday when the guards, who went to upload cash, were accosted by an armed gang.
He says no money was taken.
"Shots were fired at the G4-Security guys, one was shot 3 times and taken to hospital and another one was accidentally bumped by the G4-vehicle in an attempt to move out of the scene, unfortunately he died at the scene" Beetge said.
