St Francis Bay police have arrested a 36-year-old security guard for allegedly being in possession of a suspected stolen fire-arm.
Police spokesperson, Gerda Swart, says the firearm was allegedly stolen during the massive fire which destroyed dozens of houses last November.
She says Elvis Alony, has already appeared in court and his case remanded to June for a formal bail application.
Meanwhile, Swart says St Francis Bay detectives have arrested a 37-year-old man for allegedly being in possession of two stolen laptop computers.
The suspect is expected to appear in court on Friday.
