Security company kills armed intruder in Port Elizabeth

 A Security company who responded to a client in Seaview, Port Elizabeth in the early hours of Saturday morning shot an killed an armed intruder after he was caught with his assailants in a house in van Reenenstreet.

Police Spokesperson Captain Stanley Jarvis says four men gained entry to the house just before one o clock in the morning where they bumped into a 33 year old female home owner.

She was tied up with cables but managed to press the panic button.

The Security company heard her screams and kicked open her front door.

Jarvis says one of the men allegedly pointed his firearm at the officer, where-after he fired immediately,.

The three other suspects were arrested on the scene and will appear in court on Monday.
