The search for an enduro rider who went missing after the Lilyfontein Funduro event on Saturday is continuing.
The rider, identified as 37-year-old Nick Klingelhoeffer was last seen leaving campus on his KTM motorbike to complete a second lap and was not seen again.
East London police divers and Gonubie detectives have now joined in the search and investigation into Klingelhoeffer's disappearance.
Extensive searches have been done by the K9 unit with a team from Gqeberha also assisting, however, all the searches have been fruitless, deepening the mystery.
Provincial police spokesperson Warrant Officer Majola Nkohli, says this is an ongoing extensive search and rescue operation.
Meanwhile, the school's operation manager Lisa van Wyk, confirmed that they have re-opened the Joint Operation Centre (JOC) at the school on Tuesday for members of the community who want to assist.
She says they have multiple search parties out at various sites around the area and cautioned the public to not go out onto the routes as they have made contact with neighbouring farm owners for their permission to search.
The Lilyfontein Funduro, outside East London, is the school's annual Motorbike/Quad bike Funduro that includes routes for those wanting an extreme ride.
