The SA Transport and Allied Workers' Union says a nationwide bus strike will start today.
Satawu spokesperson, Vincent Masoga says the strike is a result of a wage negotiation deadlock.
He says the union demands an 18% wage increase and the employers offered only 2.5%.
According to media reports, train services will not be affected.
