SASSA beneficiaries will only receive grants after Easter

Millions of social grant beneficiaries will have to wait until after the Easter weekend to receive their social grants.

This is according to an advisory issued by the South African Social Security Agency (SASS) in the Eastern Cape.

Old age beneficiaries will receive payment next week Tuesday followed by old age recipients on Wednesday.

The child support, foster and care dependency grants, will only be paid on Thursday the 8th of April.

Sassa says the beneficiaries who receive the R350 SRD grant should note that their payments will not be available at the post office during these dates.
