Police are offering a reward to anyone who can assist with information that might lead to the arrest and conviction of the suspects who attacked Advocate Dali Mpofu in East London on the 11th of April.
He was attacked by two assailants and robbed of his personal belongings.
Mpofu sustained stab wounds to the upper and lower body, and was rushed to a hospital in East London.
He recovered well and is back at work, representing miners at the Farlam Commission of Inquiry into the Marikana shootings.
Provincial police spokesperson, Brigadier Marinda Mills, says a reward of up to R10 000 will be paid to anyone who can assist the police with information that may lead to the arrest and successful conviction of the perpetrators.
Anyone who might have information is asked to contact the detective branch at the Cambridge Police station.
