SAMWU members were protesting again at the Cacadu District Municipality offices in Govan Mbeki avenue/Port Elizabeth on Thursday morning.
Earlier this month, they presented a list of grievances to the executive mayor Eunice Kekana.
One of the demands was that Cacadu financial manager Tilani Botes be suspended amid allegations of fraud and corruption leveled against her.
SAMWU Eastern Cape Provincial Organiser Xomani Gqeke said the Union was disappointed that they had not received feedback ,as promised, by Wednesday.
"The sad thing about it though is that they were expecting a meeting on Wednesday with the authorities to engage on matters with management bu they did not arrive" Gqeke said.
