Popular sportscaster Robert Marawa on Thursday evening posted a message on Twitter telling his fans that he had been axed from SuperSport.
Marawa also said in the twitter post that "I would like to thank all those who have supported my journey as Sportscaster & those I have worked with at SuperSport."
He did not give any reasons why he had been sacked.
SuperSport also took to Twitter on Friday morning saying that they are in the process of refreshing their line-up which will be unveiled as part of their new football season campaign.
They denied sending Marawa an SMS and said he was personally informed of the decision earlier this week.
