Robbery at Uitenhage supermarket

 Uitenhage police are searching for four suspect who robbed a branch of Pick n Pay on Monday morning.

Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Basil Seekoei, says the robbers struck around seven o'clock when workers were arriving at the store.

He says one man was hit over the head with a gun and demanded the safe keys.

However, Seekoei says the robbery was unsuccessful and the men fled with just two cellphones.
