Uitenhage police are searching for three suspects following a robbery at the Uitenhage SPCA,in Sconland Street on Wednesday morning.
Police spokesperson, Lieutenant Gerda Swart, says the suspects forcefully entered the building at about quarter past one and threatned an on duty security official with a knife.
Swart says they took cellphones and computers before fleeing on foot.
Detectives are following up on leads.
Meanwhile, Kwanobuhle police are also searching for five suspects following a business robbery in Ponanatini Road on Tuesday.
Lieutenant Swart says the armed suspects threatened the complainant and fled the scene with cash, groceries and airtime.
Police are investigating a case of business robbery on both incidents.
