Gqeberha police are offering a reward for information that would lead to the safe return of missing four-year-old Nakane Lizane, of Wells Estate.

Police spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg, said a reward of R50 000 is being offered.

Nakane went missing on 11 May in Wells Estate while playing outside his parent’s home after being dropped off from daycare.

Janse Van Rensburg said following a frantic search, his mother reported him missing.

There were numerous searches as well as mass search parties looking for the little boy but without success.

At the time of his disappearance, Nakane was wearing a pair of black jeans, a light-coloured T-shirt, and a black jacket.

“Police are now offering a reward to anyone who can assist in finding the child. The information must lead to a positive outcome, in other words, the child must be found, irrespective of the circumstances,” Janse Van Rensburg said.

She said the investigators, Detective Sergeant Mluleki Mhlangani can be contacted on 0798967509 or  Detective Constable Msuthukazi Nkwenkwezi, on 082 302 5127.

The public can also contact Crime Stop 08600 10111 or SAPS Swartkops Station Commander, Lieutenant-Colonel John Perils on 082 303 0299.
