Patensie detectives are offering a reward of up to R10 000 for information which may lead to the arrest and successful prosecution of the suspects involved in a murder that took place at Oorlogs Poort Farm in Patensie on Saturday the 23rd of January this year.
The 68-year-old Ivy Hobbs was alone at her home when she was attacked and stabbed by unknown perpetrators.
Her family discovered her body later the same evening, with multiple stab wounds to the chest and arms.
Police Lieutenant Gerda Swart says the suspects have not yet been arrested and has urged the community of Patensie and surrounds to come forward with any information that could assist the SAPS in the investigation into Hobbs' murder.
