Reeva Steenkamp's mother, June, says she does not want revenge for the death of her daughter.
Speaking on Algoa FM's DMB on Thursday, Steenkamp did refer to Oscar Pistorius, who is currently serving a five-year prison sentence for killing Reeva.
"Nothing is ever going to be the same for us again. We've been robbed of our beautiful daughter and it's not going to change anything. Whatever happens to Oscar is of know concern to me because I'm not going to get Reeva back. I'm not a vindictive person, I don't want revenge, that's not me. I do feel when I had to face him in that court room and look at him and know what he had done to her, terrified her, in that small space she had no escape."
June Steenkamp also reflected on what she thinks went wrong between Reeva and Oscar.
"She was just and attachment to his power, but she had her own power, and she would of never tolerated that. I think that was the big problem." says Steenkamp.
