Police in Port Elizabeth are investigating a case of reckless and negligent driving following an accident on the M4 freeway shortly after midnight on Wednesday
Spokesperson Colonel Priscilla Naidu says upon arrival they found a silver Ford vehicle lying on its roof opposite the Post Office
She says the 23-year-old male driver sustained injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
At this stage, it is not yet known what led to the accident and no other vehicles were involved.
