President Cyril Ramaphosa will deliver the eulogy at the ANC’s main memorial service for Winnie Madikizela Mandela on Tuesday.
This takes place at Mbizana in the Eastern Cape where the President, Ministers and Eastern Cape government and ANC representatives will also be present.
The President will also lead a delegation to Madikizela Mandela’s home in Mbongweni Village before the memorial service.
The ANC said it had conceptualised a national plan that involved all provinces facilitated by the ANC-led Alliance to ensure that the mourning period covers the entire country.
Madikizela-Mandela will be laid to rest on Saturday during a Special Official Funeral declared by the President.
Madikizela-Mandela died in a Johannesburg hospital last Monday after battling illness.
