Port Elizabeth police confirmed two protests on Tuesday.
Police spokesperson, Captain Johan Rheeder, reported one on the old Uitenhage Road and the other at Brister House in North End.
He says a group of people gathered outside the Lilian Diedericks municipal building this morning.
The reason for the protest remains unclear but Rheeders says they have since dispersed.
Meanwhile, Rheeder says police continue to monitor a protest on the old Uitenhage road.
Grievances here are reportedly over housing and service delivery.
