A small group of women are protesting outside the PE Magistrates court where two high-profile cases are being heard.
Brent Cunningham is applying for bail after being charged with assaulting his girlfriend Shireen Ballan in late December.
Two additional charges have now been laid against him and the state has indicated that it will oppose bail.
The protesters are also showing their support for rape victim Andy Kawa who was attacked at Kings Beach in December 2010.
She flew in from Johannesburg to attend proceedings.
One of her alleged attackers is due to appear in court.
