A 38 year old pregnant woman and another passenger were seriously injured in an accident involving a Translux bus.
The accident happened near Amalinda in East London early on Friday morning.
Police spokesperson, lieutenant Nkosikho Mzuku, says its alleged that the bus was travelling from Cape Town when the driver lost control as he overtook another vehicle.
The bus left the road and careered into bushes before coming to a stop without overturning.
A case of reckless and negligent driving is under investigation.
