The East London couple arrested this week on charge of fraud and money laundering, made another court appearance on Thursday.
Zola Maziyana and his wife Zukiswa are accused of defrauding the Twelve Apostles' Church in Christ of close on R7m.
The National Prosecuting Authority's regional spokesperson Tsepo Ndwalaza, said bail of R15 000 was only granted to Maziyana's wife due to the fact that she is pregnant.
Ndwalaza said bail was granted on conditions that she does not contact any of the witnesses as the court believes that she may interfere with them.
She is also instructed to report to the police investigator if she wants to leave the East London magisterial area.
Ndwalaza said that her husband, Zola, was denied bail because he had been allegedly threatening witnesses even prior to the bail hearing.
