Former power-boating champion Lionel Ball and co-accused Nokuzulo Ntonga, will be sentenced in April.
Ball was found guilty of rape and sexual exploitation in December for having sex with an under-age girl, while Ntonga, was also convicted of conspiracy and aiding and abetting Ball to commit a sexual offence.
The court heard that she had procured under-aged girls for Ball.
The pair appeared in the Grahamstown High Court on Monday where two reports from psychologists were entered into the court record.
One psychologist, Pumza Zakasa of Fort England said the girl, who was 11 at the time of the incidents, had showed signs of trauma.
She said these manifested in feelings of sadness, depression and irrational anger and that the child was in need of psychological treatment.
However, veteran psychologist Peter Mcleod, testifying for the defence, said he interviewed the girls mother a year afterwards and she reported that her daughter was back at back at school and doing well.
He said while the offences were serious he could not find a pattern of paedophilia.
Mcleod described Ball as a loving dad who is strongly supported by his wife and who has made a generous contribution to his community.
State advocate Buks Coetzee says he will not call for a life sentence for Ball given the minimum of violence used.
Judge Judith Roberson postponed the case to April 17.
