Power outage in Oudtshoorn

 The greater part of Oudsthoorn was without power for much of Tuesday following a fault in an important sub-station in the Western Cape town.

Municipal spokesman Ntobeko Mangqwengqwe said affected areas included the central business district, suburbs and the townships of Bongolethu and Bridgton.

"Power was off from around 10am to 3pm," he said.

"Power was restored after technicians detected the fault." (Sapa)
