Possible breakthrough in search for missing PE man

An investigation by Port Elizabeth police into a missing person's report has led to the arrest of three suspects in Motherwell.

Police spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu, says 37-year-old Unathi Bless of Kabega Park was reported missing on the 31s of August.

A search for him was conducted leading police to Motherwell where his stolen car, a white Chevy-Avio had been found already stripped.

Naidu says the investigating team followed up information and arrested two men which then lead to the arrest of a third suspect on Sunday.

She says they then led police to the place where a badly decomposed body was found.

The body was hidden in bushes on a deserted stretch of road near NU29 on the Uitenhage road.

Naidu says a formal identification will be held on Tuesday.

She says the suspects aged 18, 24 and 25 are due in court in Motherwell on Tuesday on charges of kidnapping, murder and robbery.
